The North Bay area is in for more wet weather. Rain has been falling steadily, and there's a small chance of thunderstorms on Tuesday. This follows a day where some places got nearly an inch of rain. Different towns saw different amounts of rain. Santa Rosa got between 0. 6 to nearly 1 inch. Cloverdale had about 0. 8 inches. Monte Rio saw 0. 66 inches, Sonoma got 0. 7 inches, Napa had just over 0. 9 inches, and Yountville received about 0. 56 inches. The weather caused some concerns. On Monday afternoon, there was a flash flood warning in the Pickett Fire burn scar area in northeastern Napa County. A flood advisory was also in effect for parts of southeastern Napa and Sonoma counties. The rain is expected to slow down and stop by midnight. But before that, light rain and a slight chance of thunderstorms will continue throughout the day. This kind of weather can be good for the area, bringing much-needed water. By Tuesday morning, some places in Sonoma and Napa counties had already seen between 0. 2 inches and barely any rain at all. The coastal mountains got the most.
