North Korean Troops Heading to Russia for Ukraine War: South Korea’s Spy Agency

North Korea has sent nearly 1, 500 special forces soldiers to Russia for training, according to South Korea's National Intelligence Service. These troops could be deployed in the ongoing war in Ukraine. This comes after South Korea and Ukrainian intelligence services found North Korean officers in eastern Ukraine's Donetsk region, supporting Russian forces and using North Korean missiles. Since last August, North Korea has sent over 13, 000 containers filled with weapons like artillery rounds, ballistic missiles, and anti-tank rockets to Russia.This is a significant development, as it shows a deepening military cooperation between Russia and North Korea. South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol held an urgent meeting with top security officials to discuss this issue. They agreed that this situation poses a severe threat to both South Korea and the global community.
