Eurasian noses tend to have a saddle-like shape in this area. This shape might help scatter light in a way that enhances overall facial beauty. It's a cool thought that nature might have designed this shape to make faces look more attractive. The study also looked at three types of artificial nose implants. It found that the Bistool implant was the best at matching the natural shape of the nasion. This could be useful for people who want to change their nose shape through surgery.
