Some people thought one of these photos was actually of someone else named Mellissa Carone. Carone testified in court about election fraud in Michigan in 2020. A screenshot of Carone's Explore Talent profile included the picture of the short dress. However, the Daily Mail said the scandalous picture in the issue was of Carone, not Boebert. She told the Washington Examiner that they were very damaging. She said she would use all legal means available to stop this from happening to anyone else in the future.
