OnePlus' New AI Features: What's Coming to the US

OnePlus has a new phone that is not coming to the US, but the AI tools it offers are. The most interesting feature is Plus Mind. Later, users can find this information quickly using OnePlus' AI search. OnePlus plans to release a new Plus Mind feature later this year. This feature will automatically sort saved information to help users stay organized. Plus Mind will first be available on the OnePlus 13S, a smaller version of the 13T. This phone is launching in India on June 5th. Both the 13S and 13T have a new customizable button called Plus Key. This button replaces the old Alert Slider. Plus Key can switch between normal, mute, and vibrate-only modes. It can also launch the camera, record audio, or translate text. The idea is that Plus Mind will handle the remembering, so users don't have to. Plus Mind will be available on other OnePlus 13 series phones through a software update. Every OnePlus phone released this year will have the new Plus Key. For phones without Plus Key, users can activate Plus Mind with an upward three-finger swipe. OnePlus is also working on other AI tools. These include an AI translation app and an image-reframing tool. There is also an AI editing tool coming this summer. This tool can automatically fix facial expressions and blinking in photos. Some AI features are only available in India for now. AI VoiceScribe can record, summarize, and translate calls and meetings within messaging and meeting apps. AI Call Assist provides automatic summaries and real-time translation during calls. OnePlus plans to bring these features to other regions in the future, depending on local AI regulations. This shows that OnePlus is focusing on making their phones smarter and more user-friendly.
