Orlando's New Theme Park: Universal Epic Universe to Open Next Year

Orlando, USAFri Oct 18 2024
Are you ready for an epic adventure? Universal Orlando Resort has just announced that they’ll be opening their fourth theme park, Universal Epic Universe, just in time for Memorial Day weekend next year. This new park promises exciting themed areas based on famous franchises like Harry Potter, Super Nintendo, and “How to Train Your Dragon,” along with some spine-tingling monster movie brands. Karen Irwin, the president and chief operating officer of Universal Orlando Resort, couldn’t be more excited. She said, “This is a huge step forward for our resort, and we can’t wait to welcome guests to Epic Universe next year. ” If you’re planning a trip, tickets and vacation packages will go on sale next week. Since the park is expected to be super popular, those with multi-day passes can only visit Epic Universe on one day. You can spend the rest of your time exploring Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, or the Volcano Bay water park. To make your stay even more comfortable, Universal’s newest hotel, the Helios Grand Hotel, will also open at the same time. This adds to the resort’s collection of 10 other hotels. Universal isn’t the only one expanding in Orlando. Their main rival, Walt Disney World, also has four theme parks and is planning to invest up to $17 billion to add a fifth park. It looks like the competition in the theme park capital of the United States is about to heat up!
