Get ready to celebrate Paul Robinson, the executive vice president and general counsel of Warner Music Group, at the upcoming 2025 Grammy Week luncheon! The Recording Academy's Entertainment Law Initiative (ELI) will be hosting this special event on January 31 at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills. Robinson is set to receive the prestigious 2025 ELI Service Award.
The Recording Academy's CEO, Harvey Mason jr. , has praised Robinson's commitment to fair practices and his leadership through transformative changes in the music industry. Robinson has been a key player at Warner Music Group since 1995, starting as an associate general counsel and eventually becoming the executive vice president and general counsel in 2006.
Before joining Warner Music Group, Robinson was a partner at a prominent New York City law firm. His extensive legal experience and dedication to the industry make him a perfect fit for this honor. The ELI, established by the Recording Academy, aims to discuss and address legal issues impacting the music industry.
The annual luncheon also recognizes the winners and runners-up of the ELI writing competition. Tickets for the event, including discounted student tickets, will be available for purchase starting December 11. For more details, check out the Recording Academy's website.
Grammy Week will reach its peak on February 2 with the 67th Annual Grammy Awards at the Crypto. com Arena in Los Angeles. The ceremony will be broadcast live on CBS and streamed on Paramount+. Before the main event, the Grammy Awards Premiere Ceremony will take place at the Peacock Theater.
