Pete Buttigieg's DNC Speech: A Blistering Takedown of J. D. Vance and the Republican Party

Pete Buttigieg, the former mayor of South Bend, Indiana, made a remarkable entrance at the Democratic National Convention (DNC), armed with a biting wit and incisive criticism.
He contrasted 'the right kind of politics' against the 'opposite' approach embodied by Republican vice-presidential candidate J. D. Vance. As 'the guy from Fox News', Buttigieg quickly targeted Vance, causing the audience to boo: 'Don't even get me started on [Donald Trump's] new running mate! ' He mocked Vance's perceived elitist viewpoint, jabbing, 'He seems like one of those guys who thinks if you don't live the life he has in mind for you, then you don't count.
