Pixel 10 Pro: A Sneak Peek from an Unexpected Corner

ChinaTue Jul 08 2025
In the world of tech leaks, surprises often come from the most unexpected places. Recently, images of what seems to be the Google Pixel 10 Pro surfaced on a Chinese auction site. These images show both the front and back of what could be a prototype of the upcoming phone. The seller, who listed a Pixel 10 Pro motherboard, included photos of the phone itself. This is not the first time we've seen hints about the Pixel 10 series. Earlier, leaked renders gave us a glimpse of what to expect. But these new images might be the first real-world photos of the Pixel 10 Pro. The phone in the images has unique patterns on its back cover. These patterns are often used by Google to identify prototypes and prevent leaks. Additionally, the phone's fastboot menu and a sticker below the camera bar mention "DVT, " which stands for design validation test. This further supports the idea that the phone is indeed a prototype. The design of the phone matches previous leaks. It also features a periscope lens, which aligns with earlier rumors. As for the specs, the Pixel 10 series is expected to come with the Tensor G5 chipset. This will be the first Tensor chip produced by TSMC. The standard Pixel 10 will have a triple rear camera setup, including a telephoto lens. However, the Pro models are expected to have the same camera system as before. We might have to wait until August 20 for the official reveal of the Pixel 10 series. Until then, these leaked images give us a tantalizing glimpse of what's to come.
