Political Futures Look Uncertain to Many
Many people currently seem to think Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva will not win the Brazilian presidential race. At the same time, expectations appear to be leaning toward Flávio Bolsonaro taking the top spot. For the runoff, most observers are doubtful that Bolsonaro will secure a wide victory.
In the United States, the mood around the midterms is mixed. People currently seem to favor Democrats keeping control of both the Senate and the House. The idea of Democrats holding the Senate while Republicans take the House looks doubtful. A Republican Senate paired with a Democratic House also appears unlikely.
Overseas, views on a truce between the United States and Iran are divided. Some think it will hold through the early period, but opinions split on the middle stretch, and most lean against it lasting into the later stretch. In Israel, most people doubt Benjamin Netanyahu, Naftali Bennett, or Yair Lapid will become the next prime minister.
Back in the United States, the presidential race draws heavy skepticism. Expectations appear to be leaning against JD Vance, Gavin Newsom, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez winning the election. Many observers remain doubtful about each of these candidates.
