President Trump Set to Address the Nation

President Trump has announced he will speak to the country from the White House on Wednesday evening. He shared this news on Truth Social, saying he was excited to connect with people. The president's spokesperson mentioned he would talk about his achievements since starting his term in January and his plans for the next three years. This announcement comes as the White House and Trump work to highlight his record ahead of the midterm elections. Recently, Trump traveled to Pennsylvania to discuss his economic policies, and Vice President JD Vance was also in Pennsylvania to support the administration's goals.Trump's national addresses this year have often followed violent events. His last speech was in late November after two West Virginia National Guard members were shot near the White House. Trump was in Florida at the time. The White House has also released recorded Oval Office addresses, including one in September after the killing of Charlie Kirk and another after the killing of Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska. He also spoke before a joint session of Congress in March. During his first term, Trump gave only three live Oval Office addresses, none at the end of a calendar year.
