Puka Nacua's Questionable Livestream Moment

Puka Nacua recently appeared on Adin Ross' livestream, where he made some questionable remarks. He joked about referees and mocked the Kansas City Chiefs, which was not a big deal. However, things took a dark turn when he promised to do a "Covetous Jew" dance after his next touchdown. This dance involved spinning a dreidel, flexing, and rubbing his hands together, which is an antisemitic stereotype. Adin Ross is known for allowing antisemitic comments on his show, often under the guise of "joking. " He has also hosted guests with antisemitic views, such as Nick Fuentes, a white supremacist and Holocaust denier. Ross was permanently banned from Twitch in 2023 for not moderating his chat, which included racist and antisemitic comments.It's unclear what Ross believes in, as he has identified as Jewish, Catholic, Muslim, and non-religious in the past. This makes it hard to pin down his beliefs and hold him accountable for his actions. As of now, there has been no statement from the NFL, the Rams, or Nacua. It's possible Nacua will face a fine for criticizing officials, but it's unclear if there will be any consequences for his antisemitic remarks. At best, Nacua was uneducated about Ross and did something stupid on a livestream. At worst, he is willing to perpetuate stereotypes about the Jewish community. This is especially concerning given the recent attack at Bondi Beach in Australia during a Hanukkah celebration, which killed 15 people. There is no excuse for this behavior, and the Rams and the NFL should investigate the incident and demand answers.
