Davante Adams, who plays wide receiver for the Raiders, has expressed his desire to leave Las Vegas. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported that Adams has informed the team he wants to be traded. This development is not surprising, considering the recent rumors about him leaving. Adams' name has been linked to the Jets for a while now. A source told the Las Vegas Review-Journal that the Raiders are open to trading Adams, and their relationship with the team's coach has soured. When asked about these rumors, Adams didn't give a clear answer but said he finds all the trade talk "annoying. " One reason for this speculation could be Adams' friendship with Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers. They played together in Green Bay for eight years, and Adams has praised Rodgers as the greatest quarterback ever. This season, despite 18 catches for 209 yards and one touchdown, Adams has been dealing with injuries, including a hamstring issue that kept him from playing last Sunday against the Browns. The Raiders are likely to consider trade offers for Adams, with the Jets as a potential strong suitor. However, acquiring Adams would require significant compensation, possibly including a second-round pick and additional assets.
