Rom-Coms: Are They Still Fun or Just Stale?

The clever conversations about love that worked in the past now feel like something we've heard before. Another issue is technology. Phones and security measures have changed how we live. This makes some classic rom-com scenes, like dramatic airport chases, seem silly and unrealistic. People just don't believe in those scenarios anymore. But why do rom-coms still exist?
