Russia Claims Foiled Attempt by Ukraine to Cross Border

On Sunday, Russian officials reported that they had thwarted another attempt by Ukraine to cross their border. This time, the incident happened in the Bryansk region, with a local governor saying an "armed group" tried to enter from Ukraine. The governor, Aleksandr Bogomaz, stated that the situation is now "stable and under control" thanks to Russian military efforts.
This isn't the first time such an incident has occurred. Back in August, Ukraine launched a surprise attack into Russia's Kursk province, grabbing hundreds of Russian prisoners and quickly covering a large area. This attack was one of the largest on Russia since World War II.
Previous border crossings have been claimed by mysterious groups like the Russian Volunteer Corps and the Freedom of Russia Legion. While Russia has downplayed these actions, they've struggled to remove Ukrainian troops from Kursk.
Recently, there have been rumors that Russia might bring in North Korean troops to help. These rumors gained traction when Russian lawmakers ratified a deal with North Korea for mutual military support. Ukraine’s intelligence agency even claimed to have spotted North Korean troops in Kursk, alleging they had been training in Russia and were equipped for winter.
