Samsung Rolls Out First Bug-Fixing Update for Galaxy Watch 6 Series

Samsung has kicked off the new year with its first software update for the Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic smartwatches. The update, which is rolling out in various countries, aims to address bugs and issues from the previous software version. Interestingly, this update doesn't include any new security patches, keeping the watches on the October 2024 security patch. The primary focus of this update is to enhance the stability of the devices. Some users have noticed a subtle change in the Stress Measurement tile. Instead of showing stress levels on a circular scale, the tile now displays the levels using words. This update comes a few months after the One UI 6 Watch update, which introduced features like Energy Score, improved sleep analysis, and a refreshed user interface. The previous update also added app notification settings directly to the watch and introduced new notification cards. This latest update focuses solely on improving the overall performance and fixing any existing glitches.
