Samsung's Galaxy S25: What We Know So Far
Korea, SouthThu Nov 28 2024
Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S25 series has been making waves even before its launch. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has given it the green light, and with that, we've got some juicy details.
First off, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is packing a punch with 45W wired fast charging. That's some serious speed right there! Plus, it comes with an S Pen, Bluetooth, dual-band Wi-Fi, and a whole bunch of other connectivity options.
The Galaxy S25 Plus is following closely in the Ultra's footsteps, sporting the same connectivity features and 45W fast charging. But the base Galaxy S25 model seems to be taking a different route. It's expected to have wireless charging, but at a slower 9W compared to the previous model's 15W.
Samsung is rumored to release this new series in January 2025. While we don't have all the details yet, it's expected to use Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. And get this—the design might be shifting to a flatter look with softer corners for a better grip.
There's also talk about Samsung boosting AI features in these next-gen devices. The company's execs are reportedly aiming high, hoping the Galaxy S25 series will outperform their 2024 lineup.
