Samsung's New Watch Faces: A Fresh Look at Time

Tue Jul 01 2025
Samsung is set to launch three new smartwatches soon. These include the Galaxy Watch 8, Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2. The event is happening on July 9. But before the big reveal, some new watch faces have already been leaked. Seven new watch faces are coming. They are called Circle Info Board, Gradient Info Board, Heritage Classic, Interactive Number, Minimal Analog, Minimal Digital, and Sporty Classic. These names give a hint about their styles. The Circle Info Board and Gradient Info Board are like the ones already out there but with a twist. They can show lots of info through eight customizable complications. This means you can personalize them to show what matters most to you. The Heritage Classic is quite fancy. It shows constellations, the moon, and the sun. It also highlights the current date, day, and month. The background has rich textures, making it look elegant. Minimal Analog and Minimal Digital are simple. The Minimal Analog shows the time with hands and the current day and date. The Minimal Digital uses big numbers instead of hands. Interactive Number is digital with big numbers and four complications around the edge. Sporty Classic is analog-style with four customizable complications, one of which shows the moon phase. These new watch faces seem to offer a lot of customization. They cater to different tastes, from minimalist to fancy designs. It will be interesting to see how they perform in real life.

questions

Could the leaked watch faces be a deliberate strategy by Samsung to divert attention from potential hardware issues?
What if the Minimal Analog watch face decided to go on a diet and lost all its hands?
If the Galaxy Watch 8 could talk, which watch face would it be most embarrassed to wear?
