Samsung's Next Big Thing: Galaxy Z Fold 7 Unveiled
Tue Feb 25 2025
Samsung is gearing up to release the Galaxy Z Fold 7, a foldable phone that's been highly anticipated by tech enthusiasts. This new device is expected to be a significant upgrade from its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold 6.
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is set to be thicker than some of its competitors, but it's still a big improvement over the previous model. With a thickness of 9. 5mm, it's much slimmer than the Galaxy Z Fold 6, which was 12. 1mm thick. This makes it more comfortable to hold and use.
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and a 200MP sensor, which is a big deal for photography enthusiasts. However, the battery size is a bit disappointing, with a 4, 400mAh battery, which is smaller than some of its competitors.
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to have a larger main panel and external screen than its predecessor. This could make it more comfortable to type on and use for everyday tasks. The device is also expected to support an optional S Pen, which could make it a great choice for note-taking and drawing.
Samsung is expected to debut the Galaxy Z Fold 7 alongside the upcoming Flip 7 at an Unpacked event later this year. This could make 2025 the most exciting year for Samsung's Z-series since it arrived on the scene in 2019. With one less competitor to deal with throughout vast parts of the world, look for this summer's Unpacked to be one for the ages.
