Samsung's Upcoming Gadgets: What We Know So Far

Tue Jul 08 2025
Samsung is about to unveil its latest gadgets, but leaks have already given us a sneak peek. A popular tech insider shared details and images of the upcoming devices just a day before the official launch. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to be incredibly thin, measuring just 4. 2mm when unfolded and weighing only 215 grams. That's lighter than a large chocolate bar! The Z Flip 7 is also getting a redesign, with a width of 6. 5mm when unfolded, about the size of a pencil. There's a surprising change with the Z Fold 7: it might not support the S Pen. Previous models allowed users to buy the S Pen Fold Edition separately, but this time, it seems like it's not an option. This could be a disappointment for fans who enjoy using the S Pen with their foldable phones. The leaks didn't stop at phones. The Galaxy Watch 8, Watch 8 Classic, and Watch Ultra are also in the spotlight. The Watch Ultra is getting a storage boost to 64GB, up from 32GB. It retains features like a 1. 5-inch AMOLED display, up to 100 hours of battery life in power-saving mode, a safety siren, and dual-frequency GPS. The Galaxy Watch 8 and Watch 8 Classic are said to have a round display and a squircle body, similar to the Watch Ultra. The Watch 8 might get brighter with 3, 000 nits of brightness and a thinner profile. The Watch 8 Classic could come with 64GB of storage and a larger 445mAh battery, a big upgrade from the Watch 6 Classic's 16GB and 425mAh. It will also come in one size, 1. 3 inches, with a silver rotating bezel and a choice of black or white watch faces. All this information is out there, but we'll have to wait for the official reveal to see if it's all true.

questions

With the Z Flip 7 being as wide as a pencil, will Samsung include a built-in sharpener for emergencies?
If the Z Fold 7 is as thin as a large bar of chocolate, will it come with a warning label about melting in hot weather?
Is the removal of S-Pen support from the Z Fold 7 a ploy to drive sales of the Galaxy S25 Ultra instead?
