Sartell Schools Score Big with Education Grants

In the heart of Minnesota, the Sartell-St. Stephen Education Foundation (SSEF) has dished out over $26, 000 in grants to five schools in the Sartell area. This isn't just pocket change; it's a significant boost to local education. The funds were distributed to support various innovative projects. For instance, Oak Ridge Early Learning Center received $6, 500 to kickstart a hands-on ceramics program for kindergarteners. Pine Meadow Primary School bagged $6, 000 to enhance their new language arts curriculum. Riverview Intermediate School got $6, 079 to introduce an educational coding robots program. Sartell Middle School secured $3, 720 to upgrade their 3D printer for Project Lead The Way. Lastly, Sartell High School received $4, 189 for a parts tumbler to bolster their technical education department.SSEF reported a record 24 grant requests totaling over $75, 000, highlighting the high demand and creativity of educators and staff in the district.
