SEGG Media's Bold Move Into Web3 and Sports Tokenization

USAThu Oct 30 2025

SEGG Media Corporation, formerly known as Lottery.com Inc., has unveiled an ambitious two-year plan to dive into the world of Web3 and digital assets. The goal? To create steady income from blockchain technology and spread tokenization across sports and entertainment, all while weaving blockchain tech into their global media network.

The Crypto Advisory Board

To guide their $300 million Digital Asset and Tokenization Program, SEGG Media has established a Crypto Advisory Board. This group will focus on governance, risk management, and execution.

Investment Strategy

SEGG Media has a unique approach to splitting their investment:

  • 80% of capital will be kept in a multi-asset crypto treasury, focusing on Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and ZIGChain.
  • The remaining 20% will fund strategic buys in sports, media, and gaming to expand their recurring revenue.

Partnership with ZIGChain

SEGG Media has teamed up with ZIGChain, a blockchain designed for tokenizing real-world assets. This partnership provides the tech and regulatory support for the company's validator operations and tokenized asset programs.

Building a Tokenized Ecosystem

The plan isn't just about holding digital assets. SEGG Media aims to build a fully tokenized sports and entertainment ecosystem with four main parts:

  1. Digital Asset Treasury & Validator Yield for steady income.
  2. Sports Tokenization Ecosystem for fan ownership and athlete IP monetization.
  3. Sports Exchange Initiative for trading tokenized teams and sports IP.
  4. Strategic Acquisitions to deploy validator income into cash-generative assets.

Rollout Plan

The rollout will happen in four stages:

  • First Month: Activate the Advisory Board, set up validators, and seed the treasury.
  • Next Six Months: Pilot tokenization projects under Sports.com using ZIGChain and integrate validator yields into corporate filings.
  • First Year: Expand the Sports Exchange platform and introduce tokenized fan assets.
  • 18 Months: Achieve complete Web3 convergence.

New Sports.com App

SEGG Media has also launched a new Sports.com App, now available on the Apple App Store and other marketplaces. The app brings together SEGG Media's sports content into one platform, offering live streaming, highlights, and interactive fan experiences.

questions

Could SEGG Media's tokenization strategy be a ploy to monopolize the sports and entertainment industry?
Will the Sports.com App include a feature to trade tokenized sports IP for virtual high-fives?
Is SEGG Media's partnership with ZIGChain merely a front for a secretive government blockchain project?
