Senate Marches On: Tax Bill Talks Drag Into Day Two

The Senate is in the middle of a record-breaking voting session. It's been over 24 hours of non-stop votes on a big tax and spending bill. The Senate has already broken a record with 45 consecutive votes. Now, they're still going strong.
Senator John Barrasso from Wyoming thinks a final vote might happen today. Lisa Murkowski from Alaska says a deal is almost ready. Meanwhile, Donald Trump is okay if the July 4th deadline for the bill passes.
Trump was also talking about a new immigration detention center in Florida. He joked about how migrants might have to run from alligators if they try to escape. The center is in a remote area of the Everglades. It's caused a lot of protests because of the harsh conditions and the impact on the environment.
Trump also talked about Elon Musk and the Federal Reserve. He said Musk might lose a lot if the bill passes. He also wants the Federal Reserve to lower interest rates.
The Senate is still trying to get enough votes to pass the bill. It's a complicated process, and it's taking a long time. But they're still working on it.
