This comes as a surprise move in the political landscape, challenging the frontrunners, John Thune (R-S. D. ) and John Cornyn (R-Texas). Musk, known for his business ventures at Tesla and SpaceX, and Kennedy, a vocal environmental activist, have both taken to social media to express their support. Scott has pledged to fast-track Trump’s nominations through the Senate, hinting at the use of recess appointments, a strategy not employed in years.This move has sparked controversy, with some senators like Thune and Cornyn being accused of secretly opposing Trump's agenda. However, both have assured their cooperation with Trump if elected. The race is heating up, with Trump yet to make an endorsement. The election for the new leadership team will take place on Wednesday.
