When Shaun Cassidy turned twenty-one, he made a bold decision. He stepped away from the music charts and the TV screens that defined his early career. In the late seventies, he was a huge teen idol with a top hit and a starring role as Joe Hardy on ABC's "The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries." But the constant spotlight started to weigh him down.
