Silo TV Show Gets Two More Seasons, Ending With a Bang
Mon Dec 16 2024
The Apple TV+ show Silo is getting two more seasons, and the fourth one is set to be the grand finale. Based on Hugh Howey’s Silo novels, the series is about a group of people living in a deep underground silo while the outside world is toxic. Rebecca Ferguson, known for her roles in Mission: Impossible and Dune, plays Juliette Nichols, an engineer-turned-sheriff who’s trying to figure out the secrets of their underground world.
The first season only scratched the surface of Howey’s first book, Wool. The showrunner, Graham Yost, hinted that Season 2 will have a surprising twist at the end. The second book in the trilogy, Shift, jumps back in time to when the silos were first built. Yost and Ferguson are both excited to wrap up the story in the final two seasons.
The second season is bringing back many familiar faces like Tim Robbins, Common, and Harriet Walter. It’s also introducing new characters, like the mysterious Solo played by Steve Zahn. In an upcoming episode, Bernard is on a mission to expose some secrets, while Solo steps in to save Juliette’s life but wants something in return.
