Skating family in tears

A tragic accident destroyed the community of figure skaters wheresix members from the famous Boston Skating Club were killed when their plane hit a military helicopter in Washington, DC, most of them were teenage girl skaters and the parents of a current US national training skater. There was pain and loss all around. The small Boston skating club is one of the oldest and most successful clubs. It had7 skaters competing in the US Nationals. Sometimes things go wrong and the skaters are severely disappointed. Tenley Albright 5 said the tragedy brought everyone together. They had to be there for each other. All the members of the Boston club and other cities sent hugs to the families. All the countries are supporting the multiple victims of this accident. The plane carried 60 passengers and 4 crew members and hit the helicopter that had 3 soldiers aboard on this night. Conditions were clear when the accident happened in the Potomac river. Legends revealed that the Boston skating club was exceptional. Skating legends such as Dick Button and Albright, and Olympic medalists such as Nancy Kerrigan and Paul Wylie have been part of the club. It is a skater`s dream to compete in the World championship. The World Figure Skating championship is scheduled to take place this spring. The 2011 tragic loss of the American team heading to the Prague World Championships stood out. They had to cancel the World Championship due to the deaths of 26 of the U. S. team members. The pain in the skating community was similar to that time. The Boston Skating Club will continue and move forward. Ilia Malinin also commented on how hurtful the loss was and how much the figure skating community is hurt. Not only a skating field is there in the Boston club but the community will grieve together. The tragedy was shocking and many people felt sad about it. TheSkating club of Boston is known as the club that canproduce some of the best athletes and coaches in the world.
