Navan, a platform that helps companies handle business travel and spending, has added a fresh tool to its event‑planning section. The update brings in BoomPop’s AI skills, letting users pick venues and manage details without juggling spreadsheets.
The move aims to cut the time people spend on meetings, sales events and team get‑togethers. Instead of endless email chains, planners can chat with an AI that suggests dates, locations and ready‑to‑use spaces from a curated list.
One benefit is that the cost of travel, lodging and venue fees all appear in one screen, giving finance teams a clear view of the budget. The system also offers experts who can help negotiate terms like cancellations or changes, easing risk for organizers.
Planners get a customizable event webpage where they can post agendas and send invitations that track who will attend. Travelers, meanwhile, see every booking—flights, trains, cars and hotel rooms—in a single itinerary.
Affirm’s travel manager said the new features give organizers more control, especially over room blocks. He highlighted how the RSVP tracker and agenda builder cut manual work and made oversight smoother.
Navan has already organized around 85, 000 events, with 30, 000 in 2025 alone. The addition of BoomPop’s tools closes a gap that had left venue sourcing manual, despite the platform already managing many travel logistics.
The beta version is live for U. S. customers, and a full launch is planned soon. Global users still have access to Navan’s other event tools while the new features roll out.
