Sniper Elite: Resistance Preview - A Stealthy Return to WW2

Recently, the team behind Sniper Elite invited us to test out their upcoming game, Sniper Elite: Resistance. Set in Nazi-occupied France during World War 2, this sequel promises to be just as thrilling as the last one. The preview mission we played was massive, offering multiple paths and combat options. The game feels similar to Hitman, with huge open levels stitched together by a storyline. One of the coolest features is the option to find temporary weapons that can turn the tide of combat. For instance, we found a silenced Kar-98K rifle that made disposing of enemies a lot easier. However, the game encourages a stealthy playstyle, and close quarters combat can be tough. The weapons feel authentic, and the famous x-ray kill cam is back. The game looks great, especially at night with Nazi searchlights. Overall, Sniper Elite: Resistance looks like another solid shooter from Rebellion, perfect for Xbox Game Pass.
