The sketch highlighted the unexpected fan club that Luigi Mangione, the man arrested for shooting UnitedHealthCare's CEO, has gained online. Sherman, mimicking Grace, commented on the social media admiration for Mangione’s looks, saying women and gay guys alike find him attractive. The sketch mocked the internet's reaction and Grace’s old-school obsessiveness over her own image in typical SNL humor. It initially hit the mark but lost its way with repetitive jokes and outdated ad interruptions. Mangione, 26, was arrested in Pennsylvania after evading capture for several days following the fatal shooting outside a New York hotel. Chris Rock hosted the show for the fourth time, and Gracie Adams made her debut as a musical guest. Martin Short will host the next episode, with Hozier as the musical guest. Saturday Night Live, created by Lorne Michaels in 1975, will celebrate its 50th anniversary with a special featuring past, present, and perhaps future cast members.
