Snowy Saturday: When Will It End?

A chilly Saturday unfolded across Massachusetts, with snowflakes dancing in the air for many. The snowfall began overnight, and while some areas saw a break by morning, others were still under a blanket of white. By midday, Central and Western Massachusetts were still getting snow. Some spots in Franklin County had already seen over 2 inches. East Hawley was hit the hardest with 4. 1 inches, while Greenfield and West Orange weren't far behind. In Hampden County, Wilbraham got 2 inches, and West Springfield saw 1. 5 inches. Hampshire County also felt the snow's touch, with Amherst getting 2 inches and Ludlow receiving 1. 5 inches.Worcester County wasn't left out, with several towns already reporting over an inch. Asburnham collected 1. 6 inches, and Westminster saw 1. 5 inches. The good news? The snow is expected to stop soon. The forecast says it will end by noon in Worcester and by 1 p. m. in Springfield. There might be a quick shower around 5 p. m. , but after that, it's clear until Sunday. But not everyone is in the clear yet. Berkshire County is still under a Winter Weather Advisory. The snow will keep falling until after 5 p. m. , with more inches to come. It will pause overnight but start up again around 7 a. m. Sunday. So, if you're in Massachusetts, bundle up and stay warm.
