The area closest to the Ohio border seems to be at risk for a "wintry mix", which means more rain than snow. If the warm air from Ohio moves furthernorth, it could turn the maybe snow in to a rainy winter storm. This will cause less snow to fall in the southnear the Ohio border.
The more sensitive models will be windy. In other words, the weather people will track this storm and change numbers and estimates.
The amount of snow will depend on the track of the upcoming low-pressure system. For instance, if the event turns east when it approaches the great lakes it will have more snow.
