This platform has become a breeding ground for hate speech, especially against women politicians. Recent research combined quantitative and qualitative methods to examine this issue. The study found that right-wing politicians and their supporters are major contributors to hate speech online. Conversely, left-wing women are often the targets of such harsh language. The analysis also introduced a model to predict users' political leanings based on their profile descriptions, offering insight into how hate speech is distributed across different political views.
