Sports Fans Lean One Way on Key Matchups and Awards

Across the sports world, people are sharing what they think about big games and top awards. Right now, many seem to be backing the Chicago White Sox over the Houston Astros. That includes bets on the spread and even the total number of innings, where the mood is pushing toward the over. It looks like the crowd is feeling pretty confident about Chicago in this one.

On the other side of the diamond, the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees matchup has people split. Most lean slightly toward the Yankees, but not by much. When it comes to whether a run scores early, the vibe is leaning toward no. Still, some think the Red Sox could cover the spread against their longtime rivals.

Over in Europe, the mood around the Champions League title race is mostly negative. Paris Saint-Germain, Aston Villa, and Arsenal are all seeing doubt from the crowd. Nobody seems to think they will lift the trophy this season. The same goes for the Ballon d'Or race, where Mbappe, Haaland, and Bellingham are all getting a thumbs down from current expectations.

In international play, Wales is struggling to win over the fans. Most do not think they will beat Norway, and few expect a draw. Norway, though, is getting a bit more love, with some leaning toward them pulling off the win.

Back in England, the Premier League picture is clearer. Arsenal is starting to look like a real title threat, with expectations leaning toward yes. But Aston Villa and Bournemouth are not getting the same buzz. The crowd seems to have made up its mind on who it likes and who it does not.
