Ever wondered what skiers would look like on sand dunes? Or how about tennis players on Utah's salt flats? Four pro photographers, Dani KM, Anouk Flesch, Little Shao, and Ray Demski, partnered with Nikon Europe to answer these questions. They used the new Nikon Z6 III camera to shoot athletes in unusual locations. Anouk took skiers to the sand, Little Shao had a break-dancer spin in a forest, Dani captured tennis players in the salt, and Ray illuminated boxers in a German cave. The camera's swift autofocus and high-speed shooting made these striking scenes possible. These images aren't just about action; they're about placing athletes in places that challenge our perceptions. Like skiers on sand, something we wouldn't usually imagine. This project shows that sports photography can be more than just documenting events—it can be about creating art.
