Stars Align for Top Performers

The ninth season of "Dancing With the Stars" came to a close with its first elimination episode, "Oscars Night. " The evening's performances showcased the celebrities' second routines, with each duo dancing to a unique tune.
Judge Carrie Ann Inaba praised the chemistry between Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong in their rumba to Billie Eilish's "What Was I Made For. " She acknowledged the young dancer's exceptional talent and her ability to evoke emotional responses from the audience.
Eric Roberts and Britt Stewart, however, finished at the bottom of the leaderboard with their waltz to The "Godfather" theme song. Inaba shared her personal experience dealing with chronic pain, empathizing with Roberts' stiffness.
As scores were combined from both weeks, it became clear that change was necessary. Tori Spelling and Anna Delvey found themselves at the receiving end of the elimination. Anna Delvey, for instance, expressed that she learned nothing from her experience on the show.
