Sudan's War: A Call for Peace Amidst Chaos
SudanSat Nov 15 2025
The war in Sudan has been going on for over two years and it's getting worse. The fighting between the Sudanese army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) has caused a huge humanitarian crisis. The United Nations says it's the worst one in the world right now. Millions of people have been forced to leave their homes, with many fleeing to other countries.
The U. S. is trying to do something about it. Secretary of State Marco Rubio talked to the UAE's foreign minister about the need for a ceasefire. He also said that something needs to be done to stop the flow of weapons to the RSF. The U. S. is putting pressure on countries that might be involved in supplying weapons.

The situation in Sudan is dire. The fall of al-Fashir to the RSF has raised concerns about the safety of tens of thousands of people who have fled the area. Reports of rape, killings, and other abuses have been reported by those who have escaped.
The U. S. is considering designating the RSF as a terrorist organization, but it's not clear if this will help end the fighting. The situation in Sudan is complex, and it's not clear what will happen next. But one thing is for sure: something needs to be done to stop the violence and help the millions of people affected by this crisis.
