Sudden Truck Crash Leaves Four Injured in Oak Cliff

A driver, who is still in custody, reportedly drove the vehicle forward and then reversed it into a nearby tree, trapping several people under the truck. One person says the driver was “drunk” and had no shoes on, adding that he drove all the way through the crowd before reversing into a tree.Several people heard screams and tried to help those stuck beneath the vehicle, with one remarking that a woman was eating when the truck came through. Police arrived quickly and detained the driver at the scene. The officer’s identity has not yet been released, and authorities are still investigating whether the suspect was intoxicated.
