Summer Faith‑Fueled Events Line Up in Baton Rouge

The Fourth District Missionary Baptist Association is set to hold its yearly Christian Education Congress from June 8‑11. The gathering will explore a “Generational Blueprint for Christian Education, ” drawing inspiration from Deuteronomy 4:10. Worship will kick off at six in the evening on Monday, June 8, inside Mount Zion First Baptist Church on T. J. Jemison Boulevard. Adults who want deeper study can join sessions from six to nine in the evening at Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church on Scenic Highway and New Sunrise Baptist Church on Maryland Avenue, both from June 9‑11. Meanwhile, kids will have morning classes—eight to noon—at Shady Grove First Missionary Baptist Church in Baker and Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Port Allen, also from June 9‑11.
