The weather in Nashville is looking great for the big game. The sun will be shining all day. Temperatures will start in the 60s and keep going up. By 2 p. m. , it will hit a cozy 64 degrees. The wind will be light, so it won't be too much of a factor.
But the weather isn't the only thing to watch. Both teams are dealing with a lot of injuries. The Titans will be missing a few key players. Safety Xavier Woods is out with a hamstring injury. Wide receiver Elic Ayomanor and defensive back Kendell Brooks are also sidelined. Woods and Ayomanor both have hamstring issues, while Brooks is in concussion protocol.
The Titans have more players who might not play. Cornerback Darrell Baker Jr. is questionable with a knee injury. Running back Kalel Mullings and center/guard Corey Levin are also questionable. Mullings has an ankle injury, and Levin is dealing with a neck issue.
Several other Titans players are hurt but might still play. Defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons, guard Kevin Zeitler, and tight end Chig Okonkwo are all dealing with injuries. Simmons has a hamstring issue, Zeitler has a back problem, and Okonkwo has a foot injury.
The Seahawks aren't in much better shape. Wide receiver Tory Horton and linebacker Tyrice Knight are both out. Horton has a shin injury, and Knight is in concussion protocol.
The Seahawks have four players who are questionable. Linebacker Ernest Jones has a knee injury. Running backs Robbie Ouzts and Kenneth Walker III are dealing with an elbow injury and a personal matter, and a glute injury, respectively. Guard Grey Zabel is also questionable with a knee issue.
Both teams will have to find a way to win without some of their best players. It will be interesting to see how they handle their injuries and still compete.
