Police in Swansea have arrested a used car dealer after dozens of people claimed they were scammed. The owner of Bristol County Auto Exchange, Edward Cicciu, is accused of selling cars without proper titles and keeping the money. Since May, about 35 victims have come forward saying they bought cars from Cicciu but never received the necessary paperwork to register them. Cicciu allegedly borrowed cars from an auction but didn't pay for them. He then sold these cars with fake license plates and promised buyers that titles would be mailed later. Unfortunately, victims say they never got their titles or responses from Cicciu. The cars are still owned by the auction company, which is repossessing them now. Cicciu was arrested on Tuesday night in Boston. He faces numerous charges, including larceny and forgery. Police expect more charges as the investigation continues.
