Taylor Swift's Big Music Comeback

Taylor Swift has finally taken control of her entire music catalog. She bought back the master recordings of her first six albums. This is a huge deal for her and her fans. It's been a long journey to get here. Swift's first record label sold her masters to Scooter Braun in 2019. She called it the "worst case scenario" and accused Braun of bullying her. She had been trying to get her masters back for years. She even re-recorded four of her albums to regain some control. She called these re-recorded albums "Taylor’s Version. " The investment firm Shamrock Capital bought the masters from Braun. They sold them back to Swift. They said they were happy for her. Braun also said he was happy for her. " But, she hasn't started on "Reputation" yet. She said those albums can still have their moment to re-emerge when the time is right. Swift's recently concluded tour was a massive success. It grossed more than any other tour on record. She was on the road for nearly two years, hitting 50 cities on five continents for 149 shows. She thanked her fans for helping her reunite with her art. She said she has never owned her music until now. Swift's fans have been clamoring for her to re-record and release albums "Taylor Swift" and "Reputation. " They want to hear her beloved songs like "Teardrops on My Guitar" and "Tim McGraw" again. They also want to hear popular tunes like "Delicate" and "Look What You Made Me Do. " Swift has not given a timeline for when these albums might be released. But, she has hinted that they will come out when the time is right.
