TCL Unveils Pricing for New Tablets and Smartphones
Barcelona, SpainMon Mar 03 2025
TCL has just revealed the prices for their latest gadgets, the NXTPAPER 11 Plus tablet and the 60 Series smartphones. These devices were first shown off at a big tech event in January, but details were scarce. Now, TCL is finally spilling the beans on what makes these devices tick and how much they'll cost.
The NXTPAPER 11 Plus tablet is an 11-inch powerhouse. It uses TCL's special NXTPAPER technology, which makes the screen look more like paper than a typical tablet. This tablet comes with a MediaTek Helio G100 chip, paired with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It has a massive 8, 000 mAh battery with fast charging, and it even supports a stylus for drawing and note-taking. The best part? It's priced at €249. This tablet will be available in North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America, but the exact release date is still a mystery.
TCL didn't stop at the tablet. They also introduced the 60 Series smartphones, which come in various models to fit different budgets and needs. Let's start with the basics. The TCL 605, priced at €109, features a MediaTek G81 chip, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. It has a 6. 67-inch HD+ display and a 5, 200 mAh battery. The main camera is a 50MP shooter, and the front-facing camera is 5MP.
Next up is the TCL 60R 5G, priced at €119. This model has a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. It also features a 6. 67-inch HD+ display and a 5, 200 mAh battery. The main camera is a 50MP shooter with a depth sensor, and the front-facing camera is 8MP.
The TCL 60 5G and TCL 60 SE, both priced at €169, share a 6. 67-inch HD+ display. The TCL 60 5G has a 50MP main camera, a 5MP ultrawide lens, and an 8MP front-facing camera. It's powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip and comes with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The TCL 60 SE has a 50MP main camera and an 8MP front-facing camera, but it uses a MediaTek G81 chip.
Moving up the lineup, the TCL 60 SE NXTPAPER 5G, priced at €189, features a 6. 78-inch FHD+ display with NXTPAPER technology. It's powered by a MediaTek MT6835V processor with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The cameras include a 50MP main shooter, a 5MP ultrawide lens, and an 8MP front-facing camera.
The TCL 60 NXTPAPER, priced at €199, uses a MediaTek G92 chip, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. It has a 108MP main camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 32MP front-facing camera. It also features a 6. 78-inch FHD+ NXTPAPER display.
Finally, the TCL 60 XE NXTPAPER, priced at $325 (CAD), is only available in North America. It has a 6. 78-inch FHD+ NXTPAPER display, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and a MediaTek MT6835V chipset. The cameras include a 50MP rear shooter with a 5MP ultrawide lens and an 8MP front-facing camera.
All these devices run on Android 15 out of the box and offer an optional RAM expansion feature. This feature uses the onboard storage to double (or more) the available memory. But, there's no word yet on when these devices will hit the shelves.
One interesting feature of the NXTPAPER devices is the dedicated switch for different NXTPAPER modes, including a battery-saving mode. This could be a game-changer for users who want to extend their battery life.

Is the NXTPAPER technology a cover for some other, more advanced technology that TCL is not yet ready to reveal?
Why did TCL decide to make the TCL 60 XE NXTPAPER exclusive to North America, is it because it wants to keep the secret of the NXTPAPER technology from the rest of the world?
