TCL's Next-Gen NXTPAPER Display: Sharper, More Colorful, and Fresh Features

CES Las Vegas, USATue Jan 07 2025
TCL has just revealed the newest version of its NXTPAPER display tech, dubbed NXTPAPER 4. 0. This generation promises to fix many of the issues of its predecessors. The main perks? Crisper images and more accurate color reproduction, which means pictures and drawings will look way better than before. The display also comes with two eye-comfort modes, making it easier on your peepers. The first device to sport this new display tech will be the NXTPAPER 11 Plus tablet. This 11. 5-inch Android tablet has a slick 2. 2K display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It's also brighter, hitting 550 nits of brightness, perfect for outdoor use. Plus, it's compatible with the T-Pen stylus. This tablet isn't just about looks; it packs some serious smarts too. Features like AI-driven Circle to Search and Text Assist for rewriting and translating text are standout additions. Writing Assist helps with emails and planning, while Smart Translator handles text, voice, and images. There's even a Smart Memo feature that transcribes and summarizes recordings. One of the coolest updates is the customizable NXTPAPER Key. It lets you use single, double, or long presses to do different things, not just turn Max Ink Mode on or off. TCL hasn't yet spilled the beans on the tablet's price or when it'll be available, so we'll all have to wait a bit longer for that info.
