Telegram Group Shares Possible US Intel on Israel-Iran Attack Plans
Israel, TRUE

A group on the messaging app Telegram recently shared documents that claim to be leaked US intelligence. These documents supposedly reveal Israel's plans to attack Iran. The group, called "Middle East Spectator, " says they got the documents anonymously. They've admitted they can't confirm if the documents are real. Neither US nor Israeli officials have publicly commented on the leak.
The US is preparing to send troops and a defense system called THAAD to Israel. This comes after Iran's missile attack on Israel in October, which was a response to Israel's killing of Hezbollah's leader Hassan Nasrallah in September. Experts like Sean McFate from Syracuse University say it's not surprising that Israel wants to attack Iran. He thinks there's debate within Israel's government about which targets to hit.
McFate also points out that there aren't many Iran sympathizers in the US government. He adds that relations between the US President Biden and Israel's Prime Minister Netanyahu are strained, especially with an upcoming election.
