As the U. S. presidential election approaches, several high-profile business leaders have spoken up to show their support for the Democratic candidate, Kamala Harris. In Wisconsin, investor and Shark Tank star Mark Cuban campaigned for Harris, arguing this election is crucial for small businesses and criticizing Trump’s tariff plans. Other billionaires have also stepped up, with donations coming from tech magnates like Laurene Powell Jobs, LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman, and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman. Musk, on the other hand, has spent a fortune on Trump’s campaign.

Facebook’s former COO, Sheryl Sandberg, expressed her support for Harris after Biden decided not to run for re-election. Similarly, Netflix’s co-founder and executive chair, Reed Hastings, made a significant donation to a super PAC supporting Harris.
VC Ron Conway and tech investors like Vinod Khosla have stringently supported the Democratic cause, with Khosla even hosting a fundraiser for Biden before shifting to Harris. David Ellison, a film industry leader, has also shown public support and donated to Harris.
Melinda French Gates emphasized Harris’ stance on reproductive rights and caregiver support in interviews, revealing her substantial donation to the Harris campaign.
