The Cyrus Family Chats About Exes and Australians
Wed Jan 22 2025
Listen up, folks! Tish and Brandi Cyrus, Miley's mom and sister, had some interesting stuff to say in their podcast "Sorry We're Cyrus". They were chatting about men, and it seemed like they might be taking a little jab at Miley's ex, Liam Hemsworth. Brandi, who's 37, said something like, "Most men are not so great, but there are a few good ones out there. " She even mentioned her new boyfriend, Matt, who's from Australia, just like Liam.
Tish, who's 57, chimed in too. She said, "You know, Australian men are different. " But Brandi quickly added, "Not all of them, " and they both laughed. It was like they were saying something about Liam without actually saying his name.
Miley and Liam had a pretty long relationship. They met while filming "The Last Song" and were together for about 10 years. They even got married in 2018, but it didn't last long. They split up less than a year later.
The Cyrus family seems to have a thing for Aussies. Tish is married to Australian actor Dominic Purcell, and Billy Ray Cyrus, Miley's dad, had a brief marriage to Australian singer Firerose. It's like they just can't resist that Aussie accent!
