People are feeling unsure about their money situation. A recent study shows that many think living a middle-class life is becoming harder to achieve. This isn't just a feeling among the young; it's shared by most age groups, except the oldest. Most folks can cover their basic needs like food, gas, and rent. But they worry about these costs a lot. They feel it's tougher to get ahead now than it used to be.Housing, retirement, and healthcare are big concerns. Many don't feel secure about affording these things. Over half of the people think housing and education have become too expensive. This worry has changed how people see America's economy. The idea of America as a place where anyone can succeed and live comfortably is fading. Two-thirds of people think a middle-class life is out of reach for most. And 77% believe it's harder to achieve now than it was for their parents' generation.
