In a shocking twist of events, court records are shedding light on a stormy relationship between a Woodland Hills doctor and his ex-wife, who is accused of being involved in his murder. Dr. Hamid Mirshojae was killed in an ambush shooting in August, and the case has taken a complex turn. Although the couple divorced in 2010, their relationship remained tumultuous. Court documents reveal numerous violent incidents, including assault, embezzlement accusations, death threats, and restraining orders. In 2016, Ahang Mirshojae claimed her ex-husband threatened her with a large hunting knife. On the other hand, Dr. Mirshojae alleged that his ex-wife was embezzling money from his clinic and threatened to destroy it.The case reached a tragic climax on Aug. 23 when Dr. Mirshojae was ambushed and shot outside his clinic. Police have since arrested five people, three of whom have been charged. The accused include Sarallah Jawed, Ahang Mirshojae, and three others. Investigators believe one of the charged men, Evan Hardman, was the shooter, driven by Ahang Mirshojae's fiancé. Another suspect, Jawed, is accused of facilitating the murder and helping Hardman flee. The case is not over, with detectives vowing to hold all involved accountable.
