The Weather Frog's Exit: What Google Changed and Why

It turns out, Froggy didn't fit the new design Google had in mind. The team shared that they faced a tough choice. Half of the users were fond of the frog, while the other half didn't feel the same way. They didn't want to favor only one side, so they decided to let Froggy go. Their main goal was to improve the Weather app, which is one of the most used apps on a phone. Google aims to provide a top-notch, ready-to-use experience right from the moment users set up their phones. Alongside Froggy's departure, the team also introduced some other interesting updates to the weather app, although not all may be available to everyone yet. As of now, there’s no sign of Froggy making a comeback.
